Bob Houghton writes: We have seen a surge in new club members this year. For the first time in many years the club membership has exceeded 50.
The new members are: Nigel Dobbs, Simon Beresford, Emma Gaffney, Shona Kay, Louise Pinfield, Matt Pinfield, Patrick Riley, Guy Stephenson, Karen Stephenson, Julia Woodward, Andy Walsh, Philip Gillingham, Louise Gillingham, Simon Pennock, Tim Thacker and Jenny Ayerst.
On behalf of the committee I welcome all these new members to Lichfield Running Club and I hope that you have an enjoyable and successful time with the club.
It is particularly pleasing to see so many already making their mark in the Road Relays as well as regularly attending the Wednesday evening training sessions.
